Each age group will have 2 tryout dates.

We recommend BOTH tryouts- so that our evaluators can really see the skills and game play.

Our tryouts are 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Players register (free) before they arrive (link will be shared)

Arrive to tryout time/ location- check in with HSC Travel Administrator and receive pinnie

Director of Coaching and VP of Travel will host the tryout in partnership with Independent Evaluators. 

Things we are looking for

• ball control
• foot skills
• speed
• understanding the game
• teamwork/ commitment (from past season)

Parents

• We encourage you to observe and support your child from the perimeter of the field.
• At no point whatsoever should any parent come onto the playing area- if this happens, your child will be removed.
• There is a zero tolerance for any verbal or physical input or coaching from the sideline, watch, observe and let the players play!

After both tryouts are complete, DOC will meet with Evaluators and Coaches and discuss team placements. 

Players will be notified of their offer by email; have 24 hour to accept or we will move to the next player on the list. (48 hours from acceptance a non-refundable deposit is required to secure roster placement)

We will have new Fall 2025 meetings in end of May/ June for all teams- before summer break and go over expectations.

Anyone not making a team is encouraged to play in our fun Intramural league to gain more game play experience.
