HSC Academy

HSC Academy is a program designed for skilled and motivated  (2013 birth year )second grade U7/U8 player who really enjoy soccer and are interested in improving their skills with an eye on considering travel soccer. Training sessions are run by Steel Soccer professional soccer trainers. Playing in Intramural and Futsal programs in addition to the HSC Academy is highly recommended.

The Academy’s training curriculum is designed to improve the following all in a fun environment:

• Players technical ability including, ball control, short & long passing, dribbling, finishing
• Players ability to understand basic tactical play such as basic combination play
• Players awareness of space during game situations
• Players awareness of teammates & opposition during games
• Player’s decision making, when to pass, when to dribble

The sessions will focus on individual balls skills and will end each night with a scrimmage.

Cost per player varies over the three seasons but includes:

1) HSC Academy numbered jersey (if new to program in the calendar year)

2) 4 training sessions (depending on season)

3) Preparation for travel tryouts for U8 players
